Our History

Andrew Taylore Hair Design, Inc. was opened in 1988. Two established female hair stylists were looking for a quiet, relaxing location where their clients could escape from their busy lives. 20 years later the salon is still owned and operated by one of the original owners who is also an active hair stylist. All of our hair stylists have been with us for a minimum of 5 years, some having been here from the very beginning.

In the summer of 2007 Sandhya, our Aesthetician, and Nicole, our Nail Tech. joined our team. Coming to Andrew Taylore Hair Design with years of experience, Sandhya and Nicole have been able to offer an even more relaxing experience to our salon and spa.

In 1998 Andrew Taylore Hair Design was recognized as one of the top 10 hair salons in the Washington DC/ Metropolitan area by the Washingtonian Magazine; voting one of our hair stylists the most popular.
